Summary: This position will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will also enter and record all purchases made within the company and assist and oversee the company’s policies and objectives. In the area of compliance, this position is responsible for ensuring that the company remains compliant in all areas.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position that will typically involve 40+ hours a week and is eligible to work from home with approval up to 40 hours per calendar year.  While schedules may vary in accordance with the needs of jobs and/or work to be done, the Company will observe a five-day workweek Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All employees are expected to be at work on time.

Travel: If required, travel is generally local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.


  • Work experience in management or similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes
  • Strong knowledge of human resources related topics
  • Ability to administer and process 401K and Insurance
  • Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple situations and prioritize time and resources accordingly
  • Hands-on experience with managing and scheduling people and events
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, & Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies and employee standards
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensure all timesheets are reflecting correct times while monitoring overtime hours for payroll. Payroll may include Certified Payroll.
  • Control all accounting activities relating to payroll, 401k, health insurance, general insurance
  • Meet with employees periodically, making sure that they are well educated about the specific contributions necessary to achieve the company objectives.

Administrate: Make sure you understand and follow the guidelines for reporting procedures and paperwork:

  • Be neat and detailed when completing your paperwork and expect the same of your employees.
  • Keep a calendar listing when different reports are due and adhere to it.
  • Make sure that employee concerns are handled immediately.
  • Continually recruit new Technicians and Installers.
  • Ensure training of all field personnel on company systems, tools, and procedures, utilizing in house training, ride-along, and third part training, webinars, and online training programs)
  • Schedule ride-along with service technicians and review.
  • Protect the company’s assets.
